What first attracted you to The Prime Company?
I was attracted to their emphasis on work-life balance and the goal of giving 90% of profits away. I left a job that I was very happy at with a good career trajectory to join this team in 2014, largely because of those two aspects.

How does it compare to previous jobs you’ve had?
The level of transparency between the employees and ownership is unlike anything I’ve seen. Chris and Bryan are always available to talk with any of their employees. The level of respect and empowerment that our teams receive here is much different than other groups I’ve been a part of.

What do you appreciate about the people you work with?
I love that we have a team of high performers who enjoy seeing others succeed. This contributes to a great team atmosphere and avoids any toxicity in our culture.

Keys to Success
Focus on the fundamentals. There’s no real secret to what we do. Master the basics and execute better than everyone else.

What motivates you to get up and come to work every day?
I enjoy what I do because I get to learn new things daily and create solutions to various complicated problems.

What do you appreciate about the people you work with?
Everyone here truly desires to be a better person. If there is conflict over anything, whether it’s work related or personal attitudes, I can bring that to the individual and work through it in a loving and caring manner. “Don’t rebuke a mocker, or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.” (Proverbs 9:8)

If you were talking to a friend, how would you describe The Prime Company’s culture?
It’s like working in the computer lab with all your friends back in college. People are goofy and having fun, but we always get our work done and enjoy each other’s company.

What is one of your favorite memories from working at The Prime Company?
When we decided to put a Pop A Shot in the middle of the office. Just imagine an arcade game where people are trying to shoot hoops as fast as they can, and not being quiet about it, in the middle of an office setting where someone is on the phone with a banker about a multimillion-dollar project. It’s amusing.

What motivates you to get up and come to work every day?
I enjoy what I do and who I work with. I feel purpose in my work, and the responsibility to do a good job.

What do you appreciate about the people you work with?
I like talking to my coworkers about personal things and about work things. I am thankful that we can work together to find the best solutions for our projects and that they are willing to take time away from their work to help me with mine. I try to do the same for them as much as possible. I appreciate my coworkers’ work ethic. They go the extra mile to get things done.

If you were talking to a friend, how would you describe The Prime Company’s culture?
We are all trying to accomplish the same goals, so there is a mutual attitude of wanting to help each other out to make our projects successful. We’re willing to shoulder some of each others’ load. We also like to have fun and keep things fun around the office, so there is a fair amount of humor throughout the day. Our culture is also one of supporting each other personally, whether that is through prayer or lending a hand after hours.

What first attracted you to The Prime Company?
The company’s culture and mission. I had a great job before I came to work with The Prime Company in 2013, but they were able to get me to switch because of those two things.

If you were talking to a friend, how would you describe The Prime Company’s culture?
Our culture is one that knows that work is not the most important thing in this world, but rather the relationships that we are investing in at work and out- side of it. Our work is just a means to an end, not an end in itself.

What motivates you to get up and come to work every day?
I love our mission: to give generously and help people all over the world know and experience how good Jesus really is. My life has been dramati- cally changed because of Him, and I want others to be able to experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing Him.

What is one of your favorite memories from working at The Prime Company?
I love our yearly retreats where we have fun competitions and hand out funny awards after the day of challenges.
